3/8 Tech Article

Give this kid a medal! Five-year-old Danny Kitchen of Bristol, England, spent $2,500 on iTune in-app purchases in about 15 minutes, the Beeb reports. Score! Spending that much money that quickly would seem to be a challenge, but his parent’s emailed bills show that he bought multiple $105 items in an as-yet-unidentified iPad game. Apparently, $2,500 goes out the door rather quickly when you spend in $100 increment.Fortunately, his parents did not have a heart attack when seeing the bills the next morning, and fortunately, Apple is being very good about the situation. The family will not be forced to pay for the virtual goods that Danny unknowingly bought.

If I was to go back in time I would probably go back to when my grandpa was alive. I miss him so much! On April 3, 2013 it is going to be 7 years since I have seen him. When he was alive i would never talk to him because all he spoke was Greek. I never understood him or even hugged him. Ever since then I have regret everything and I always wish he would come back. Every time I go on stage for cheering, i always pray that he is in the stands cheering me on! I love my grandpa!

Google Chromebook Pixel Coming Later this Year: Report

Google Chromebook Pixel

Google has built a self-branded touch screen–equipped Chromebook—a laptop that runs its Chrome operating system—according to multiple sources. Such devices would help Google to even better compete against laptops running Microsoft's Windows 8, which increasingly feature touch screens.
Google will begin selling its own Chromebooks "later this year," the Wall Street Journal reported Feb. 20, adding that it's unclear which of Google's hardware partners it's working with to manufacture the devices and that a Google spokesperson declined to comment.
The report follows what is said to have been a leak of promotional video featuring the Chromebook, Fast Company which, if the video is legit, will be called the Pixel and will feature a screen resolution of 2560 by 1700 pixels.
The video showed up on the Google Plus site of Chrome expert Francois Beaufort,  reported Feb. 6. The site explained that "Beaufort found the video on a Vimeo channel owned by Slinky.me, whose CEO Victor Koch is a former Google engineer."
